A Machinist is needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Peshtigo, WI.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Set-up adjust and operate a variety of machine tools including CNC mill machines to perform progressive machining operations on a diversified line of close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill and machining techniques.
- Typical assignments include complicated work with exacting requirements as to tolerance and surface finish
- Read blueprints or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and other requirements
- Measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining
- Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma
- Associates degree or more than two (2) years of experience of CNC Mill Machine tooling.
